MØDE I GUSTAV WIED SALEN

Gustav Wied has lent his name to this beautiful salon. The big double doors open on to the grand Golden Age Hall. The Gustav Wied Society’s annual meetings held at the hotel contribute to honouring the popular writer’s association with Hotel Prindsen.

The bright and attractive Gustav Wied Salon is adjacent to the Golden Age Hall. The salon is often used in connection with this for part-meetings, breaks and socializing at the mobile bar, which can be moved into the big lobby just outside the salon. It is extremely suitable for self-contained meetings or parties. The Gustav Wied Salon is, as are all the meeting and conference rooms in the house, equipped with TV-video, monitor, overhead projector, screen, white-board, flip-over, telephone, Datalink and access to the Internet.

The wall of the salon is adorned with an imaginative painting of the three great writers, Holger Drachmann, Hans Christian Andersen and Gustav Wied, partaking in friendly conversation. The painting does not portray the truth, as all three have visited the hotel, but not at the same time.
